This unit covered the basics of testing students as well as which tests are typically taken by English learners to prove competence. In the classroom there are multiple types of tests which are used at different times to learn more about your students level as well as help their knowledge by either reinforcing already known information or showing them information that would benefit their attention while studying.This unit outlined in detail the different special groups of students that we will likely come across in the future. I think it was especially helpful in the young learners and business English learners part because I have the most difficulty teaching those two groups of students. Children need to be treated very differently to adults and I find that the most difficult part because I'm so used to teaching adults.
