Evaluation is very important to me and this unit covered some good content on evaluation. I learned good information on what external exams exist that students may be preparing for to gain credentials for their careers. I also learned about formal and informal ways to evaluate student progress, instructor effectiveness, and content balance of skills. I am passionate about good evaluation and I was hoping to read more in this unit on test creation, administration, and data interpretation. I am a very methodical person and I can already think of ways to combine practice tests with lessons for generalizing skills. Having external exams helps me reframe goals for lesson planning and develop ideas on building transferable skills in for my students.
