This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 4 was smooth and relatively easy to understand. I am familiar with \"Present Tenses\". Although, confusion would occur at times regarding Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous, as each case depending on usage reflects a specific time of happening. Using Present Continuous as Present Tense, or Present Tense indicating Past Tense, can also be puzzling. But in general, contents were less complicated this time. This unit was about managing classes, i.e. the skill(s) needed to organize the class, have a good learning atmosphere and maintain discipline.
I learned a range of different techniques and setups how to keep students interested and involved, avoid problems and how to behave and not to behave in front of a class. It helped me get a better idea how to respond to problematic behaviour and how to act as a teacher in general.
