The success of teaching reading and listening skills is based on the topic. The topics should be engaging and interesting to all of the students. Topics can vary as long as all students are able to relate at some point. Activities to practice these skills further should involve the student's creativity and other skills like writing and speaking. Although reading and listening require worksheets and repition, it should involve the students senses and the lesson should encourage them to participate in the practice.
