I found the advice on how to maintain class cohesion with students of varying abilities to be most helpful. When I have taught ESL classes in the past, I've found my way very much by trial-and-error. I think these recommendations will be very helpful in the future.
Also, I appreciated the recommendations on how to conduct a first class. I usually have used some sort of get-to-know-you game, but I've always started some sort of work using the course textbook as well.In this unit, I learned a lot of things about making a lesson plan. I even reviewed unit 3 to go over the ESA lesson plan. I did have a lot of questions. I don't know what is the best options. I have made lessons plans a lot; however, it seems like the lesson plans need to be more detailed than what I have done in the past.
