For unit number 5 we talk about the importance of planning our lessons. What I learnt from this unit is the important role planning takes in our jobs as teachers. Now I understand that in order to have a successful class you need to be prepared and the only way you'll be is by planning your lesson beforehand. What we cannot forget is that this is a guide for you to know what is the main objective and how you want to accomplish it. It helps us to improve our lesson and our role as teachers as well. This does not mean that you have to follow at face value, we need to be able to change it if necessary and it will help us to keep control of the time, activities and to keep a record of the objectives that were accomplished and it the case we are not able to deliver the class for some reason whoever goes to cover you has an idea of where the class is and how to continue.
