This unit focused on many different aspects of classroom management. The teacher has many tools that they can use to create the type of learning environment they think is best for their students. For example how they set up the desks in the classroom. The teacher's level of confidence also seems to play a role in forming a good rapport with the students and good eye contact with the students can help curb discipline problems. The different ways of grouping students for activities all have their pros and cons so it is good to mix it up and keep the lessons interesting. Learning about how to keep discipline in the class was very good for me. The rapport you have with the students plays a major role I think. If the teacher is close with their students, the students are less likely to be disruptive and disrespect their teacher.
