This unit was about how writing and speaking are important aspects of learning a language and just as important as reading and listening. It went over how speaking is part of learning a language and how accuracy and fluency can be taught at the same time using a variety of games and activities to help with this goal. It also went over how writing is important and helps build self-confidence about learning a new language. It also briefly went over how games are important to engaging and keeping learners motivated and should be part of the daily routine and not something to look forward to on a Friday afternoon. I think that a good way to structure classes is one day focus on speaking and writing and another day on reading and listening while using games and movies to help motivate the students and keep them engaged.
