This unit discusses how to optimally teach certain groups such as beginners (absolute, false, adult, young), individuals, or business students. When teaching beginners it's important to not use student's native tongue, have clear goals, be visual, use simple instructions and language, revise constantly, and encourage English. When teaching an individual it's important to have fun, use activities, focus on specific problems, and use a mix of conversation as well as interest engaging activities. When teaching children, it's key to use slow language delivery, repeat oneself, make them smile, laugh, and feel comfortable, and to not use their native language. Business students' age can vary, are not always motivated to learn English, and attendance can be irregular.
