In this unit, I have learnt approaches to use when teaching special groups ranging from beginners to young learners and business english learners as well. I have learnt that with respect to business learners it is important to conduct a needs analysis before commencing the lessons so as to know what the learners want and their needs from assessment. Above all when teaching any of the aforementioned groups, one important factor must be taken into consideration when preparing my lessons which is to make the lessons as varied and interesting as possible to provide a comfortable, fun and supportive environment for the students while learning which boots their motivation and prompts for a smooth learning process.
