I really enjoyed this unit. I have never given it much thought of the importance of pronunciation in language. I suppose this is something that each native speaker learns at a young age while mimicking their first language teacher. Typically this would probably occur within the firs and second year of a persons life. I realized after going through this unit that pronunciation is a very important part of language. If a person does not understand the stress, rhythm, and intonation of words, they will likely not understand the english language and have a harder time pronouncing words properly. Therefore experiencing difficulty fully expressing themselves.
