In the last unit I learned a lot of tips on how to deal with first times teaching and other problems that may occur. There are two types of beginners class and that are students with no learning experience yet. The second type of beginners are those that already have some learning experience and know the methodology and a happy with it. On the first day of classes, we teachers should establish a good understanding and relationship with the class and find out their interests and needs and what level on English they have. How this is done is by games and other warm up activities that consist of games wherein talking is encourage like in passing the ball, hangman, etc. It is important to plan what games to use according to the lesson taught. In this unit we are also taught the difference in handling an individual student in tutorial basis and a big group of students in a class.
