This unit discussed conditionals and reported speech. It went over zero conditionals, first, second, and third conditionals, and mixed conditionals. It also discussed the different ways to use these conditionals and which tenses to use in each. It also went over reported speech versus direct speech. It gave examples of each and also had many graphs and charts describing the differences. For each teaching point it also gave example activities and teaching ideas for each.This unit gives future teachers a look at how lesson planning plays a major role in how smooth or unsmooth a classroom setting can be ran. It also gives the teacher an option as to how much of the structure they would like to follow or if they would like to use very little structure and run the class strictly on their own methods which can be both beneficial and potentially dangerous depending on how they handle the pressures of being a new teacher with less experience.
