This lesson helped me understand the importance of language usage, and structures. Teaching ESL students new language skills with the ESA method seems to be very affective because it is very involved and hands on. Though proper grammar, pronunciation and spelling is important for new leaners, it may be more helpful for students to learn language usage and new language structures in order to better communicate in public settings. Especially when in English speaking countries, word pronunciation and dialect varies throughout each country. I realize that ESL will benefit also from leaving basic english slang words too.
