My reflection on this unit will be harsh so fair warning...

This unit gave valuable insight on teaching new language...

There are many equipment and teaching aids which can be used to make the lessons more exciting and less dependent on a text book...

Unit 12 talks about the two productive skills which are Speaking and writing...

This unit covered conditionals and reported speech...

Course books, materials and teaching aids must be used with a balanced lesson in mind, targeting the needs and appropriateness of the students you have...

The unit built from day to day assessments to the final examination giving information about progress achieved in between...

Common problem situations faced in a classroom gave an insight into most common problems and not exhaustive by any means, it did show to me that the teacher and the teacher's interaction and stimulation in the class room environment can overcome a lot of common problem situations, as majority of students attend classes as a foreign language for a majority of reasons and a teacher needs to establish a level of rapport and trust in order for students to be proactive in the classroom, this I have found from being a student in a foreign language class in the pastThis unit covers another grammatical aspect being modals and their basic rules, the difference between passive and active voice and the different types of phrasal verbs...

This is a pretty straightforward overview of the different testing options available for ESL students, as well as providing the rationale for testing and how teachers can interpret and use the results of such exams...

I was studying linguistics in university, so phonology was part of my major, and I'm very familiar with it...
