for me i agree that tests are important for both the learner and the teacher - having been a student, tests played a very big role in my student life and while it does help the teacher estimate how much information students have retained, how much they understand about topics and which areas needs improvement on, i feel that it is also important to not fully depend on these tests as sometimes these tests determine on how well students memorise their lesson materials, thus a student might do well not because he understands the lesson, but because he memorised the chapter well...

The last unit covered receptive skills, so this unit covered productive skills...

This unit has provided me with an overview of the tenses, I find that it is rather difficult as it is something we generally take for granted and having to learn it again has been difficult...
