The unit focused on production with the students it gave great emphasis to accuracy and fluency and the need to apply at all times the ESA technique in all lessons where they are reading or writing it also emphasised the need for teachers control during the accuracy phase and a more stepped back approach during the fluency stage but still needing to be attentive to the students output so the difficiencies could be delt with where necessary vocabulary checked and drilling could be applied where necessary it highlighted the need to be possitive at all times to keep the students motivated even when there writing skills were below par the team work activity suggested the game and role play are all usefull techniques to keep the students eager and keen to learn more...
