Chongqing is an important industrial and economic center in southwest China and is located on the Yangzi River.   • What does the tuition for the program include?

    Course deposits must be paid to our administrative centre. Credit/debit card payments are the fastest and cheapest way to pay, but we also accept payments via Pay Pal and bank transfer.

    Course fees are all-inclusive so you won’t be asked to pay additional costs for course related services. This also includes moderation and accreditation fees, lifetime job assistance and all our basic services.

    The final payment is to be made to the training center before the first day of your course in cash or by credit card.

  • What is an average program day like?

    Class time is generally 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with mid morning and afternoon breaks and a lunch break. There will be a mixture of workshops, real classroom observation and in-classroom teaching practice supported by the trainer or experienced teachers.

  • How many students on average are in the program each month?

    Typically we have around 8 -12 trainees but the maximum is 15. Most of the participants are American, British, Canadian, or Australian, although we do accept non-native speakers of English who have a high proficiency in the language.

  • What are the teaching practice students and classes like?

    The students are local people from the city. The experience you gain during the teaching practice will benefit you tremendously. Taking your development step by step only helps you to gain more confidence and help to build your own style of teaching.

    You can stay at a guesthouse in a private room with AC, cable TV and other basic facilities. The place is about 5 minutes away from the school on foot.

  • What documents do I need to bring?

    Please bring your resume/CV because the school will require this in the teaching practice. When you secure work you may be asked to provide originals and copies of your college degrees and transcripts. You might also consider obtaining an international driving permit if driving in Chongqing. PLEASE BRING ALONG COPIES OF YOUR PASSPORT AND VISA ON YOUR FIRST DAY OF THE COURSE FOR REGISTRATION.

  • What’s the climate like? What kind of clothing do I need to bring?

    Known as one of the three furnaces in China, Chongqing has a humid sub-tropical climate with very long and very hot summers. The humidity is the highest of any other city in China, and the temperatures get up to 35°C (95°F) in the built-up areas. Though the temperatures are very high, the city experiences a great deal of cloud cover, though this is much less in the summer than in the winter. The winters are shorter and are not too cold, with low temperatures of around 6°C (43°F). The city of Chongqing is also notoriously foggy, with fog for about 100 days each year, which can be hard to deal with! The poor air quality can be a significant problem for some people, as the pollution can be damaging to your health if you are staying there for a long time.
