The School
With over 60 years of teaching experience between them, the tutors at the Madrid center certainly know what they are talking about. They will guide you through the CertTESOL course and help you find employment upon graduation. As the course is recognised by the British Council, graduates can apply for British Council teaching jobs that are available in countries worldwide. The CertTESOL is also welcomed by many other international educational organisations that provide English instruction to students of all backgrounds and ages.
The Madrid training center is generally regarded as one of the most reputable in the world as it meets a QCF Level 5 high-quality standard and it allows trainees to further specialize in either teaching business English or teaching young learners.
Worldwide, Lifetime Job Placement
Another major reason why the Madrid center stands out is its lifelong job support service. All our graduates can take advantage of our extensive support services for as long as they need them, regardless of where in the world they would like to work. On top of this, we also guarantee a 1-year teaching job to any graduate who chooses to stay and work in Madrid. These positions are at state/public or chartered bilingual schools and come with good pay and conditions and the option to renew the contract after the first year.
Accommodation
As most housing agencies in Madrid charge fees and security deposits that can amount to as much as 1500 euro, the center’s own recommended accommodation is a popular alternative. For a fee of 625 euro for the four week period of the course you will have a private room in an apartment that is shared with an ex-student or a local Spanish person who attends the free English classes that we run during the training course. All the apartments we use are located in safe and pleasant neighbourhoods that offer local services such as supermarkets and restaurants. They are also within a short journey of the training center.
We are also happy to help you find any other style of accommodation that you prefer, whether it is a hotel, hostel, guest house, homestay or even an Airbnb. As we know the local area like the back of our hand, we can offer sound advice on the best places to stay depending on your individual needs.

How does the Madrid Trinity CertTESOL application process work?
Expand
You apply through the ITTT website. As soon as we receive your application, we will review it and pass you on to the staff in Madrid who will send you instructions with the necessary steps to complete your application. To be accepted on the course, you must pass both the written and spoken tests.
After you have passed both tests, you will receive an email confirming your acceptance on the course. To guarantee your space, you must then pay the deposit. If you need to speak to a student advisor about accommodation, student visas (if you are a non-EU national), or other administrative and banking details, we will schedule a Whatsapp call.
One calendar month before you start, you must pay the final payment. Once you are fully paid, the Madrid team will send you details on how to access the "Student Moderation Zone". This is where you will upload your work throughout the course. After the course, you will use the "Student Moderation Zone" to type in your CV/resume so we can send it to the many language schools waiting to interview you for their available jobs.

What is the weather like in Madrid? What kind of clothes should I put in my suitcase?
Expand
Madrid is a city with a dry climate and little rainfall, which is concentrated during October, November, December, and April. In general, summers (June to August) are hot and winters cold (December to February), so what you put in your suitcase will depend on the time of year you visit Madrid: light clothing and natural fabrics to combat heat and warm clothing for the coldest months.
Don't forget to include comfortable shoes and informal clothes to walk around the city and some smart casual and elegant clothes and shoes to enjoy Madrid's nightlife.
Don't worry if you forget something at home. There are many department stores in Madrid where you can get clothing and footwear at different prices during your stay in the city.
